Brix Studio - Vancouver, BC

Old School Charm Meets Modern Amenities
With the exterior boasting projecting brick and stone pilasters, Brix Studio is proudly located inside a Victorian commercial style heritage building. Built in 1893 by one of the city's first architects William Blackmore, "The Commercial Block" was originally used as a warehouse. We've now converted a portion of the main level to a flexible, modern event space while preserving its historic Gastown charm.

The Possibilities are Endless
Whether you're looking to host a hybrid event, seminar, cocktail event or yoga class, the Brix Studio can transform to your needs. Our on-site staff is professionally trained in all aspects of technology, marketing, communications and administration to help make your next event a success.

Stand Out
The 1,300 square foot studio is fully equipped with top-of-the-line technologies so you can reach your audience wherever they are. With a hybrid event you don't have to convince anyone to travel to your event, just broadcast your presentation online and your event comes to them! People's schedules are more hectic than they used to be, make it easy with a Brix webinar.

We want you to love our studio as much as we do! Contact us and come see it for yourself!

The Icing on the Cake

We don’t mean to brag, but we take pride in going a step further than the norm for our clients. Here are a number of things we think we do better:

  • Cell reception
Some larger buildings have spotty cell reception. Though we don’t advocate for making calls during events, you could if you wanted to.
  • Bring your own food and beverages
We’re not sticklers for certain caterers – though we can certainly recommend good ones – and we welcome you to arrange catering with your own preferred suppliers.
  • Parking
No need to overwork your already tired feet. There’s a parking structure across the street that’s 50% cheaper than parking in the downtown business district. We also offer one free parking space for you on event day in our secure parking lot.
  • Transit-friendly
Most of our staff members take transit to work. Not only do we believe in reducing our economic footprint, but it’s convenient, close and economical.
  • Coffee, tea and cutlery
Save the additional catering costs. We offer free organic tea and coffee to our guests which can be refreshed throughout an event. We also have a healthy supply of glassware, plates and cutlery available for use at no charge.
  • Private kitchen
Brix Studio is equipped with its own small kitchen area that you are free to use during your event.
  • Free Wi-Fi
What more can we say? Your attendees, speakers and organizers need it. We’ve got it – at no extra cost.

Because Support Services works with so many associations, we receive excellent pricing for items such as venues. As a stand-alone organization, we would never get that pricing.

We have minimized our operational costs and overhead by outsourcing to Support Services. They provide an essential service for small associations like ours. Otherwise, we would not be able to operate as efficiently or professionally.
